Plus-Size fashion has been killing it lately. Earlier this year Lane Bryant launched their #ImNoAngel campaign, then actress Melissa McCarthy launched her Seven7 collection and now funny lady Rebel Wilson has just launched her clothing live available at plus-size retailer Torrid.
Upon first glance, Rebel’s collection leans on the more edgy side with faux leather pants, embellished sweaters, and dresses all in a color palette of reds, blacks, and greys. Overall it seems like a solid collection and I can’t wait till the pieces I purchased arrive. Till then, here are my top picks from Rebel’s collection.
Rebel Wilson for Torrid Embellished Sweater: I’m really picky with my sweaters but this one looks to be right up my alley with embellished shoulder detailing and ribbed trim detail. I can easily pair this with a skirt or some skinny jeans.
Rebel Wilson for Torrid Lurex Sweater Dress: A good sweater dress is hard to find but this striped number might be the golden ticket. It’s equal parts flashy and cozy and I can’t wait to style this with the numerous pairs of boots and other winter accessories.
