The Plus+ Size Life – Floral for Winter?

Well since one Ms. Miranda Priestly was so opposed to the “floral for spring idea” how about this, I’m wearing floral in WINTER.

The real kicker here are my “kicks” (see what I did there?). Instead of the black or even grey boots I’m sure everyone else would think to pair with this look, I took it to the flip side and went with a sweet pair of deep chocolate brown booties that I scored from DSW, which is a great place to really expand your shoe inspiration.

Since the dress is scuba/neoprene material I chose to leave the heavy duty outerwear at home and opted for a more mid-weight coat since no one likes to overheat while riding mass transit. Much like boots tights are a mainstay during the colder months so its really important (at least in my mind) to invest in some good quality hosiery that will last you all winter long. My look is finished off with a large satchel and a multi-toned watch.
