The Legendary David Bowie Dead at Age 69
Tonight while most of Hollywood had all eyes turned to the Golden Globe Awards, the music world lost a legend as musician David Bowie passed away at the age of 69.
Bowie’s death was confirmed via his official Facebook page in a statement that said “David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”
The music world lost a true legend and I truthfully do not have the words to express how sad I am by this. So let’s watch David Bowie one last time performing one of my favorite songs.
