The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Welcome a Baby Girl
Update #2 – We have a name. The Duke and Duchess have named their new little girl Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. The “Elizabeth” if referrence to Her Majesty the Queen while “Diana” of course is after the late Princess of Wales and William and Harry’s mother. Her full title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge
Update #1 – Catherine and Prince William have officially left St. Mary’s and the new Princess made her first public debut at around 1:10pm EST. Unlike when George was born, The Duke and Duchess did not address or answer questions from the media, however like last time William did drive the newest addition to his family home.

Upon going into labor and arriving at St. Mary’s hospital this morning around 6am GMT, Catherine and HRH Prince William have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The Princess will become fourth in line for the throne after her older brother Prince George, father and grandfather Prince Charles.
While we do not yet have a name, the little girl will carry the title of Her Royal Highness The Princess of Cambridge. The last time this title was in use was 184 years ago.
The Duke, Prince William was present for the birth and that the healthy baby girl weight 8lbs 3oz (not that far off from her brothers weight) and the baby was born at 8:24am GMT. As of press time a name hasn’t been released. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry as well as members of the Middleton family have been informed are are delighted with the news of the new addition to the family. Just a few minutes ago, Prince William re-arrived at the Lindo Wing with Prince George in tow so he could meet his new sister.
As is tradition, the new princesses arrival was announced via the golden easel outside Buckingham Palace.
