I love weekends because well who doesn’t love the weekend. More specifically I love fall weekends. There is something magical about strolling around town with the leaves changing colors, sipping a PSL (pumpkin spice latte) and enjoying the crisp air. I also love me some chic casual weekend style that is perfect for everything from brunch to running errands to day dates.

Weekends are my comfy “me” time. I dress up for work, events, and meetings all week long so when Saturday calls I want nothing more than to throw on a pair of sweats and call it a day. Now since I don’t actually own any sweats and TBH I still like to looked polished on my errand runs or meeting the girls for brunch. This is where leggings and ponte pants are my best friend. They meet all the criteria: comfort, style, and wearability.
Just about anything pairs well with leggings or ponte pants but my ultimate go-to is a flowy top and a moto jacket. The key with fall style is layers, and these options provide the perfect amount of light layers. Finally I add a pop of colour with a pair of D’Orsay flats and a handbag, both in a deep bordeaux color, I really love deep reds, wines, and plum colors during the fall.
