Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year, especially after I moved to the east coast where I can really see all the leaves change color and enjoy that crisp fall air. Deep wine and plums are my favorite go-to fall so naturally this flowy wine dress from Simply Vera Vera Wang was right in my wheelhouse. What I love about this style of dress is how super easy it is dress down with a chic sweater and some flats or if you have a special occasion pop-up like a fall wedding, swap out the flats for a pair of pumps and the sweater for a chic moto-jacket and boom you have a chic cocktail look.
A look isn’t complete till you add some accessories. To bring some texture and print into my look, I went with a two-toned satchel handbag. This type of bag is subtle enough to pair well with my look should I be headed out on a date but can also jazz up a more casual look thanks to the bordeaux and snake print mix.
