STYLE | Pumpkin Patch Time with Catherine’s
I love everything about Fall. The crispness in the air, the trees changing color, apple cider donuts and of course the fashion. Yet as much as I love Fall there are a few staples of the Fall season that I’ve managed to go my whole life without experiencing, till now that is.
To welcome Fall and all that it entails, I spent a few days with fellow bloggers Jezra M, Nekiah and plus size brand Catherine’s on a Fall adventure that took us from the city to the farm and back again.
One of my favorite things to do during PSL season is enjoying the late afternoon sun with a nice cool breeze, so its only fitting that we all gathered on the Upper West Side to enjoy the a little bit a city nature with a river view. Late fall afternoons call for layers which is I paired a chic jersey dress with a moto jacket. Not only does the moto jacket add a pop of color but also keeps those fall chills at bay.
What I love about this look is it is perfect to go from a stroll in the park to dinner in the city as I polished off the book with a pair of black booties and some coordinating accessories. This is a perfect day to night look since we followed up our park time with dinner at the AMAZING STK, where the mac & cheese is to die for and steaks are cooked to perfection.
After a night out on the town it was time to turn these city slickers into country girls with a trip to the farm, literally. Now I grew up in Montana and Colorado, hell my family even owns a farm out in Western Montana yet I have never gone to a pumpkin patch, so I was beyond thrilled that I got to spend a day dressed if fabulous fall layers and doing the ultimate fall activity, pumpkin picking.
I’ve often found that when communing with nature jeans and boots are a must. Thankfully Catherine’s has amazing skinny jeans that paired perfectly with a some wedge booties. I topped off my look with a long sleeve top and a plaid ruana shall, which was perfect.
Our farm adventure started off with hail bail ride through ABMA’s Farms amazing gardens before heading into the pumpkin patch where we spent time picking out our perfect pumpkins. With our pumpkins in tow we next got to snack on fresh baked apple cider donuts all while shopping some fresh produce, cheese, and fresh from the hive honey.
A HUGE thank you to Catherine’s to allowing me to cross so many things off my bucket list all while making me look good in the process. You can shop all of my Catherine’s look over on Catherines.com. Be sure to let me know in the comments below what your favorite fall activity is.
