Spring Wardrobe Update #SpringAtKohls
Ladies, spring is officially here. With this thought in mind, it’s time to ditch the furs, scarves, mittens and sleeping bag coats and set our sights (and wardrobes) on sandals, bold colors and patterns.

I’ve been browsing, searching, and pouring over all the plus-size spring offerings out there trying to find some super stylish options that are still affordable. I found so many chic, stylish, and straight up fab looks at Kohl’s and every piece I found was under $40!! As a bonus, between March 28 – April 3rd, get $10 OFF your women’s plus-size apparel purchase of $30 or more with code PLUSTYLE online (or you can click here to download a coupon for in-store shopping).

Now in order to get you really ready for spring, I’m sharing some of my personal styling tips for when I’m moving from the boring all black/gray winter wardrobe to colors and prints.
If you’re working color back into your wardrobe, you cannot go wrong with blue. Blue is such a fun color because it comes in so many shades. You can go from dark blue to cerulean to robin’s egg, you get the point. It is a great shade to play with and I have yet to see a skin tone that doesn’t play well with blue. This is why I love this Apt 9. Maxi dress. It’s a fun shade of blue but also works great for day to night.
Print is fun but can be scary if you’re not used to it. I love playing with print and texture but I usually start off with my accessories. Here I chose a super fun mixed print satchel that mixes black and white stripe with a soft floral pattern. If you’re worried about integrating a mixed print accessory into your look, try to make sure a least one color from the accessory flows with your main outfit. So in this case the blue in the floral pattern ties in with the the blue dress.
Don’t forget about the accessories!! I always try to throw on a few bangles and earrings before I leave the door. I feel like bracelets are such an easy way to amp your style and they are so easy to mix and match. Here I mixed these fun beaded bracelets with some silver bangles. [Side note: Everyone should own bangles in silver, gold, and rose gold. They are major accessory staples]
Nothing goes better with a maxi dress like gladiator sandals. In fact, in my eyes gladiator sandals are a spring/summer staple, so I usually stock up on several pairs in all different shades. They are the one summer shoe that can go from office to beach to dance night.

Now go forth my lovelies and style your spring wardrobe away and not forget to swing by Kohl’s or Kohls.com to get $10 OFF your women’s plus-size apparel purchase of $30 or more with code PLUSTYLE (offer good March 28-April 3).
