Red Carpet Watch: Shimmering Metallics at the 2016 Golden Globes

There were lots of trends on display at the 2016 Golden Globes and one of the big winners (in my book) was metallics.

Actresses Brie Larson, Melissa McCarthy and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all showed up on the red carpet in shimmering metallic gowns.

BRIE LARSON

Brie, who won the Golden Globe for her role in “Room”, looked every part the winner in her stunning custom gold gown from Calvin Klein Collection.

MELISSA McCARTHY 

Nominee Melissa McCarthy showed off her slimmer figure (she recently said she has lost around 50lbs) in a flowing silver metallic gown that she designed herself. This shouldn’t come as too big of a shock to people seeing as she realised her own clothing line Seven7 in fall of 2015,

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY

The newly engaged “Mad Max: Fury Road” star hit the red carpet in a super chic Versace gown.
