Once Upon A Time Season 5 Tid-Bits

We still have at least three months to go before season 5 of Once Upon A Time kicks off but that doesn’t mean there is no news to be found.

Starting with a “duh” moment, it was officially announced today that both Sean Maguire (Robin Hood) and Rebecca Mader (Zelena aka The Wicked Witch) will not only be coming back for season 5 but they have been bumped up to series regulars.

ONCE UPON A TIME - "Operation Mongoose, Part 1 and Part 2" - The Author proves to be a formidable wild card and forges an alliance with Gold. Emma, her parents, Hook and Regina scramble to stop them, but when Gold and the Author turn the tables on heroes and villains alike, the prospect of any happy outcome appears worlds away. Henry discovers he has big shoes to fill as he steps up to save his family before the story's final page is turned. It's a race to the finish, and everything culminates with a shocking twist that will leave the residents of Storybrooke reeling, in the captivating two-part season finale of "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, MAY 10 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/Jack Rowand) REBECCA MADER, SEAN MAGUIRE

On the casting front, it looks like OUAT will be traveling to Camelot to find Merlin who is the only hope of saving Emma aka The Dark One. Casting is currently under way Merlin: a black Brit in is early 30’s to 40’s with a natural British accent, King Arthur: is also a Brit (accent is mandatory) and in his mid-30’s to early 40’s, and Guinevere: a Latina in her mid-20’s to mid-30’s (no word in if she is required to have a British accent as well).

If you are asking where Sir Lancelot is, then you need to reach the first 1/2 of season 2 when he is introduced and then quickly killed off by Cora.

Who do you think should be cast in these new Camelot roles? Let me know in the comments before or on Twitter.
