Hours before sleek gowns came down the runway, the namesake designer married his partner, Elad Borenstein, in the venue at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, taking advantage of “New Yorks liberal laws…” the release from IMG stated.
The show itself was spectacularly structured pieces, one after another. Cohen showed that he can do more than just bridal and evening wear by adding in several cocktail-esque dresses and even a jumpsuit.
High slits and double slits were omnipresent in this collection. While some may cringe at a lot of embellishment, the glittery accents were placed in just the right amount so the dresses ascended when the lights of the runway hit them just right.
It would not surprise me to see a dress from the collection on the red carpet during this award season.
