#MondayMakeover Doing the 1-2-3 Step #3Step

During my stint in beauty school (and the 9-months before) I worked for a little brand called Clinique. Growing up there was no better place in mind than the beauty counters in a department store, so when the chance came to work at one naturally I jumped at the chance.

One of the best parts about working at Clinique was getting introduced their skin care line otherwise known as the 3-Step Program. Like any other beauty line, workers are required to use the products so that we knew what how to use the products. The one thing that I didn’t count on was actually liking the products as up until that point I had been raised on a competing skin care brand.

Fast forward 10-years and here I am trying a new skin care routine just about every other week and if you’re thinking that will give glowing skin 24/7, I’m here to tell you that’s not the case. I have super picky skin, so when I try out a new product and my skin freaks out it can take up to a month for everything to return to the status quo. Lately I’m noticed my skin is not looking as bright and dewy as it once was and that is affecting how everything from my primer to foundation to contour is wearing on my face, and for someone as beauty obsessed as me, that is NOT a good thing.

This has lead me right back to Clinique’s 3-Step program with the added bonus of the new Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush to really give me a good clean.  It will take a few weeks for my skin to start to perk back up but I’m super excited to be getting smooth as silk skin back.

If you want to keep up with my 3-Step routine, follow me on Snapchat (username: entertainista) as I’ll be snapping away the progress.
