Look of the Week: Lane Bryant x Otis College of Art and Design

One of the biggest trends rocking both the runway and the street is the minimalist trend. Gone are the days of wearing bold, bright colors and crazy prints. Right now it’s all about whites, greys, blacks, muted blues, and neutral tones. If you need further proof look at the S/S 16 collections from DKNY, Nicholas K, or Kanye West’s Yeezy collections.
It’s funny that in the plus-size world we fought and fought for prints, colors, and shape and now the fashion tides have turned against us back to the palettes we started with. While some plus-size brands are still catching up Lane Bryant well out in full force to big us plus-size gals a minimal, modern collection by teaming up with Otis College of Art and Design.

At a foundational level, we want students and future designer to see the possibilities of creating great design for all women,” said Lane Bryant CEO and President Linda Heasley. “Working with the future of fashion is incredibly inspiring, and I can’t wait for our customers to see what these talented individuals designed.”
