Living the Well-Thy Life
This past weekend I was invited to spend a day out in the Hamptons with Women’s Health Magazine and FEED Projects as part of the Well-Thy Home and Party Under the Stars events. The idea was not just to promote FEED’s amazing Run10 Feed10 race but also to help us bring wellness into our everyday lives.

V.P. & Publisher of Women’s Health Laura Frerer-Schmidt welcomed us into her Montauk home for a day of wellness that kicked off with yoga, lead by celebrity instructor Mandy Ingber, on the amazing roof-deck that overlooked the bay. After spending about 2-hours on the Jitney, yoga was just what we all needed to stretch out our bodies and get the blood moving again. Yoga was followed by a lesson in real-food cleansing from with nutritionist Keri Glassman. I loved her idea that cleansing doesn’t have to exclude real food and I’m ALL for snacking throughout the day.
Next up, fitness trainer Heidi Powell, co-host of ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss, lead a group workout that focused on getting everyone’s booty bikini ready with moves like deep knee lunges, planking, and more. Lunch was something out of this world. Greg Frey Jr., executive chef at Golden Door, first demo’d a farm to table lunch that we all got to try out for ourselves.

After a lovely day of wellness, that also included cocktails from Owl’s Brew Tea and hair/makeup touch-ups from GLAMSQUAD, we headed off for some pool time at the Atlantic Hotel in SouthHampton. I swear there is nothing like chilling at the pool on beautiful summer day.
Our final stop was the 4th Annual Party Under the Stars where I spent the night chilling by the bonfire, enjoying life, and of course eating s’mores. Celebrities like Molly Simms, Laura Prepon, Rosario Dawson, Taryn Manning, and of course FEED founder Lauren Bush-Lauren mingled among us enjoying drinks, music, and of course a beautiful summer night.
