LIVE from New York NBC Announces the 2015-16 Schedule

NBC got out one of the largest brooms from the cancellation closest last week and in a hope of turning around their programming downslide is going for a new card to play in the upfronts poker game: LIVE.
HEROES REBORN
After the success of last weeks Undateable live episode (which help garner the sophomore comedy a third season), NBC is looking to add more live or live to tape shows to its rosters. Shows like Sunday Night Football, The Voice on Monday’s and Tuesdays, the new Neil Patrick Harris variety show, the above mentioned Undateable which will now do all episodes live, and of course the juggernaut of Saturday Night Live. There is also the new staple of a live stage musical with this year’s offering of The Wiz airing sometime in late 2015.
HEARTBREAKER
NBC has picked up a total of six new comedies and seven new dramas plus six alternative/event series for 2015-16 with only a handful landing a spot on the Fall 2015 schedule.
BLINDSPOT
Monday’s will see the return of The Voice followed by the new drama The Blindspot. The Voice will continue on Tuesday nights with new drama Heartbreaker and the new NPH show/Chicago Fire following up. Wednesdays will stay pretty much the same with returning dramas Mysteries of Laura, Law & Order: SVU and Chicago P.D.. The anticipated Heroes Reborn will debut on Thursday nights followed by The Blacklist and new drama The Player. Returning comedy Undateable will kick off the networks pretty popular Friday night programming followed by new comedy People Are Talking, returning drama Grimm, and Dateline.
