Let’s Talk About Denim Baby #TargetStyle

Ladies, shopping for jeans is about to get easier thanks to Target. I was given the chance to tryout a few of the plus-size styles that just recently hit stores and here are my thoughts.

Style #1 Mossimo Mid-Rise Jeggings

I’ll admit, I’ve never been a huge jeggings fan…until now. Not only are these jeggings super cute but they are also so easy to style. One day I did a nautical look with a striped tank and some cute sneakers.

 The next day I went for an all black & white look with flip-flops and bright red sunnies.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how these jeggings managed to hit at just the right spot at my ankle, I can honestly say I’ve NEVER owned a pair of jeans that hit that spot. The material is super soft and stretchy which means no warm-up or lunges are needed to get into these babies.

Style #2:  Ava & Viv Boyfriend Jeans

All summer all I’ve wanted is a decent pair of boyfriend jeans. I’ve looked high and low, near and far, yet I was boyfriend jean-less, until now that is. I’m obsessed with these. They are distressed at just the right spots, have a slight built in cuff, and again for my 32″ inseam managed to hit the ankle just right.

Boyfriend jeans are super easy to dress up or down, I took mine out to brunch and movie paired with a fun graphic tee and some slightly dressy flats. Add in some aviators and a chic tote and you’re weekend ready.

The one aspect of these Ava & Viv jeans that really impressed me is that they stayed relaxed throughout the leg. Most plus-size jeans have a tendency to either be skinny jeans or bootcut, no in-between, yet these babies are true boyfriend style. If you need me, I’ll be living in these all summer long.
