Jumpin’ Jumpsuits

I have had a love, hate (mostly hate) relationship with the jumpsuit. In my mind I look chic and put together. In reality the chosen jumpsuit is too short in the leg and torso leaving me with camel toe and feeling frumpy. So what’s a girl to do? Buy yet another jumpsuit of course.

This time around I chose a number that was made of a knit jersey and was draped instead of fitted. I also went up a size. Why? Since I’ve got more of an hourglass figure, my hips are bigger than my waist so I figured if I was getting camel toe by getting pieces that were my dress size, I reversed course and got one in my pants size. The combo of going up a size and picking a style that draped seem to do the trick.

Is the jumpsuit for everyone? No, hell I’m still not sure it is for me, but at least there is one style out there that I know I can rock on a lazy day.
