Jennifer Morrison at HBO’s Emmy After-Party
Once Upon A Time’s Jennifer Morrison shed her Dark Swan shell on Sunday and headed over to HBO’s Emmy After-Party.
JMo sported a chic black and white look from Narciso Rodriguez’s Fall 2015 collection. The top is super fun and while she did switch out the wide-leg trousers that went down the runway for a more cropped version, the look still came off as playful yet modern. I will say that while I do love the Narciso Rodriguez ‘Boomerang’ Clutch, it’s too big and clunky for this look, I would have gone with something a little more slimmer and in a bold color like red, orange or cobalt blue.
Her makeup is kept pretty natural and clean, leaving her hair to act as the statement. With the weather nearing 100 degrees on Sunday, I don’t blame any gal for wanting to keep their hair off the neck and face. If you want to re-create Jennifer’s texturized up-do at home, we got the how-to steps straight from stylist Marissa Marino from NINE ZERO ONE salon, who styled Jennifer’s look.
Start off with natural texture and use Unite Texturiza Spray throughout and then back comb entire head.
Pin the underneath portion loosely, still showing texture.
Brush the sides back tight, but leaving volume on the front bang section, and then comb back.
Place two black headbands (like these from Kitsch) to create a unique shape.
Finish the look with Oribe Superfine Hairspray.
