Happy Hour ~ Valentine’s Day Pre-Game
Technically Valentine’s Day is still like two weeks away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t kick back and kick start the weekend with a little pre-Valentine’s cocktail. So let’s ditch the heels, put on the lounge wear, fire up the Netflix and say TGIF with this cocktail created by Pamela Wiznitzer, USBG NY Chapter President, Seamstress NY
THE LADY IN RED
1½ parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1 part Pomegranate Juice
½ par lemon juice
Ginger Beer (chilled) to fill
Directions: Combine lemon juice, pomegranate juice and bourbon in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously for a minute then pour over ice in a Collins glass and top off with ginger beer.
Garnish with lime wheels (optional).
