Happy Hour | Happy Birthday America

Happy Independence Day Weekend everyone (and for those you not in the USA, happy Friday). As those of us in the United States get ready to celebrate the July 4th holiday, I figured why not keep with the red, white and blue theme for this week’s Happy Hour.  So fire up the grill, jump in the pool and give these cocktails a spin.

SUMMER 75, PUNCH

METHOD | Place all ingredients in a punch bowl or pitcher and mix. Add Prosecco. *Tip: Freeze edible flowers in ice and use to chill punch. {Serves 10}

METHOD | Using a melon baller, add a scoop of raspberry to a chilled champagne flute. Fill with Martini & Rossi Prosecco. Garnish with raspberries.

4 ounces of Martini & Rossi Asti ½ ounce of Bacardi Gold Rum Dash of Lemon Juice Garnish: Cinnamon Sugar

METHOD | Rim the glass with cinnamon sugar. In a prepared champagne flute, add all ingredients. Stir once and serve.

STAR-SPANGLED SANGRIA

STAR-SPANGLED SANGRIA

3 cups Martin & Rossi Prosecco ¼ cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice or Lemonade 6 large Mint Leaves 1½ cups Sparkling Water 3 Lemon Slices 5 Fresh Strawberries (sliced) 3 Cucumber Slices

METHOD | Combine lemon juice, mint leaves, sparkling water, lemons, strawberries and cucumbers in a pitcher. Gently stir in chilled Martini & Rossi Prosecco just before serving. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint. {Serves six}

1 part St-Germain French Elderflower Liqueur 2 parts Vodka ¾ part Fresh Lemon ¼ part Simple Syrup 1 part Muddled Strawberry Top with Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé

METHOD | Shake and strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass. Top with Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé. Garnish with strawberries.
