Greta Gerwig in Donna Karan Atelier

The old saying of “saving the best for last” is what popped into my head last night as after searching high and low images of Golden Globe nominee Greta Gerwig in her Donna Karan Atelier gown FINALLY appeared online.

Gerwig, nominated for her role in Francis Ha, wore a black pleated crinolin gown that was embroidered with jet glass.  She kept her hair and make-up simple, accessorizing with only a Le Vian ring, some Fred Leighton jewelry, and classic black pumps which allowed the brilliance of this tea-length gown to really shine through.

What really makes this dress top notch is how comfortable Greta looks while wearing it, which is the true marking of a fabulous dress pairing.
