Get Ready and Join the #PlusIsEqual Movement

If you’ve seen this months issue of Vogue, then you might have noticed this stunning image, with just the words #PlusIsEqual. 

The image was a first for many reasons, first it looks like a plus-size campaign of some kind FINALLY made into fashion bible that is Vogue and two the image left many people curious as to WHO is behind this Plus Is Equal movement.

Well I am happy to say, that while I learned this bit of information last week, I can now share it with the rest of you.

Lane Bryant is the mastermind behind this new, and in my opinion, much needed campaign.  The goal of this campaign is to get people talking, to get everyone from fashion designers to retail buyers to bloggers to the everyday women talking about how you can no longer ignore the plus size community and that in fact Plus Is Equal. We all deserve love, respect, friendship, and of course great, modern fashion.
