FYI, there are so many amazing products from Salon Perfect for this spring, but that’s another post for another time.
Prep Your Nails.

Make sure your nails are free from all dirt and oil, then apply a base coat. Try to find a ridge filling base coat, like this one from Deborah Lippmann, that will help to give you that really smooth nail surface.
Apply The Polish

For this look you’ll need a nice soft pink like ‘Put A Ring On It’ from Salon Perfect. Really light, soft colors like this usually take more than 2 coats. The trick is to really let each coat dry between applications, this way you don’t have to sit around all night after to move. My nail artist applied about 4 coats to get the perfect look.
Draw the Line

Using a black stripper, like Salon Perfect’s ‘Black Ink’, dry and fill in the lines. Since this is a mod inspired look, there doesn’t need to be a rhyme or reason to you designs, but do make it cohesive, meaning the design you do on your left ring finger should be the same on your right.
Top if Off

You’ll need a good, strong top coat. I have a vast collection of them but one of my favorites is China Glaze’s ‘Fast Forward’.
Dry Baby Dry

Make sure you give your digits a quick spritz of a fast dry spray to help speed it up, then just chill. CHILL…. I usually dry to do nothing with my hands for like 10-minutes to make sure everything is good and try, then I be extra careful for like the next hour.
ENJOY and show off them nails.
