DOVE is Celebrating All Women with #LoveYourHair Campaign
Ever since the 7th grade my hair has been a vessel for my personal expression, in fact growing up my mom had a rule of no tattoos, no body piercing, but my hair could be whatever color I wanted it to be. Why? It’s simple hair grows back, a hair color or cut is never permanent. I’ve stuck by that philosophy my whole life.
This is why I’m am loving the new DOVE #LoveYourHair campaign. Dove’s new mission is to broaden the definition of beautiful hair by celebrating all hair [types, textures, styles, colors] and inspiring real women to do the same. In fact, 86% of US women believe that media and society put a lot of pressure on women to have hair that looks a certain way.
