Christian Siriano Spring 2016 #NYFW
There are a handful collections I truly look forward to attending every season for New York Fashion Week, and Christian Siriano is at the top of that list.
It will be cliched for me to say, but I really have been a fan of his since his Project Runway days. I have long said that out of all the winners of the show, Christians eye for design, draping, and just plain making beautiful clothing, has out shown all the others. Each collection he does is beautiful and his inspiration shines through clearly.
For Spring 2016, Christian was inspired by the imperial cities of Morocco. His collection was full of blush toned looks that were as sweet as they were sexy followed by several white linen pieces that screamed day time chic with their casual yet put together silhouettes.
Gowns made of chiffon, organza, and feathers cascaded around the room and finally brightly colored silk dresses gave way for a strong ending.
After seeing this collection I am even more excited to see what Christian Siriano will do with this upcoming collection for Lane Bryant. I will finally be able to own a piece (or two or three) created by this talented designer.
