Best Dressed at the 2015 Emmy Awards
TV’s best and brightest got all dolled up to battle the nearly 100 degree heat and impress those of us sitting at home in their PJ’s at the 2015 Emmys Red Carpet.
There were 11 ladies who in my opinion were the best of the best.
Taraji P. Henson KILLED it in custom Alexander Wang. Everything from the small cut-out to the chain straps to her epic Cookie fierceness helped make this look the true winner of the red carpet.
Kerry Washington in Spring 2016 Marc Jacobs. Kerry always looks hot, but when you take a look that was just debuted 2-days ago at the close of NYFW, you know you are going to get good reactions. Well done.
Sarah Hyland in Zac Posen. Once again a big job well done goes to Mr. Brad Goreski for his styling prowess. Everything from the color of the dress down to Sara’s makeup help to make this look a winner.
Tatiana Maslany in Bouchra Jarrar. I always love a good white look on the red carpet and this suit looks chic as hell. I just hope she has extra double-sided tape in that clutch. Nip-slip prevention must be at the top of her mind.
Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell. Gaga has slowly been transitioning from out there meat dresses to more classic, old Hollywood glam. This look is practically perfection with the blonde hair and minimal accessories.
Sarah Paulson in custom Prabal Gurung. I don’t often like the looks Sarah Paulson goes with on the red carpets, but this Parbal gown looks amazing on her. While I’m not 100% digging the hair, the dress is just too good to pass up.
Sofia Vergara in Saint John. Gold gown – check. Mermaid cut – check. Red Carpet perfection – check.
Christina Hendricks Name Khan. The hair looks good, the girls look good. Christina is werking it hardcore.
Ellie Kemper in Naeem Khan. This is such an unusual gown for the red carpet and that is why I’m digging it so much. It also just looks so “Ellie”, all happy and bubbly.
Cat Deeley in Monique Lhuillier. The SYTYCD host just recently announced her pregnancy and she looks stunning in this gold Lhuillier gown. Now girls needs to go kick off those heels and chill out with some ice cream.
Lena Headey in Zuhair Murad. Cersi is giving us regal fierceness. I love this wine color trend right now and it works flawlessly with her coloring.
