#BeautyLust – Smith & Cult Spring Faves

Last year I was at the Self Magazine beauty awards when I was first introduced to Smith & Cult, a new nail polish line from Dineh Mohajer, you know the same women who gave us the coveted Hard Candy “Sky Blue” nail polish. What I recalled most about the Smith & Cult collection from that day was the unique packaging, bold color names, and the bright pink pop of color that was Plastic Beach. That color has been a hit at the office ever since.
Well now Smith & Cult has a new addition to the group, The Tainted Lip Stained, which is the perfect combo of both a lip balm and a lip gloss. The result is shiny (but not sticky) lips that get conditioned while looking perfectly pouty. The Tainted comes in two colours, Linger Sigh which is a kinda blushed honey shade and Sweet Suite which is pinkish shade.

Now let’s talk about nails, Smith & Cult also has a few new shades out for spring time The Bee-Side (a pale yellow), Fauntleroy (lavender) and Subnormal (a neutral grey). I’m not a huge yellow nail polish fan but I am a lover of purple and grey so you know I snatched up those two shades to add to the rest of my Smith and Cult collection. In fact I wore Subnormal to a recent photoshoot and everyone loved it!!

Left to Right: Ghost Edit, Plastic Beach, Subnormal, Fauntleroy, and Psycho Candy
The Tainted Lip Stained is available now and retails for $24 while the nail lacquer’s are $18 each.
Give them a try and let me know what you think!!
