8 Must-Have Products to Survive the Dead of Winter
Well, beauty babes, we are officially in the dead of winter. Now if you're anything like me, my skin, hair, and nails all take a beating thanks to what seems like the never-ending cold.
So to help us all, I've compiled a list of ALL my favorite products that I actually use to get me through these dark, cold times.

Clarisonic Mia Prima Facial Cleansing Skincare Device
Exfoliation is key to just overall good skincare but even more so during the winter to help get rid of any built-up dry skin. My personal favorite is the Clarisonic but you can really use any device you want. I do suggest that if, like me, you have sensitive skin to start off using this 3x a week, building up to just at night.
CLINIQUE Liquid Facial Soap
Clinique facial soap is a tried and true, holy grail product for me. I've been using this for YEARS since I worked for the brand back in 2003/04. Even though I test a lot of other cleansers, during the winter I tend to only this one as it's gentle enough to not completely dry out my skin but gets all the crap out of my pores.
Pixi Beauty Rose Tonic
Ever since I was introduced to the Glow Tonic a few years back it's been the ONLY toner I use. That said, the original formula is a little too harsh for me during the wintertime. Thankfully Pixi Beauty came out with the Rose Tonic which still gets the job done but calms my skin down a little.
IT Cosmetics Confidence In An Eye Cream
If you've been following me for a while you'll know I have the world's most sensitive eyes, like to an annoying degree. So there is really only one eye-cream I've been able to use since it came out a few years back and thankfully it's still getting the job done today.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream
I cannot overstate how important a good moisturizer is during the winter months, it is literally what keeps our skin from looking like sandpaper. I switched to using the F.A.B. sleeping cream last winter and it's been my go-to ever since. Now I ONLY use this during the night as it too heavy for the day but trust me, your skin will thank you.
Kiehl's Lip Balm #1
It amazes me how many people still do not give their lips the TLC they need and deserve. Besides staying properly hydrated, drink your water, a good lip balm should also be a part of your skincare routine. This one from Kiehl keeps my lips hydrated but also kinda doubles a slight lip gloss, plus it's only $10, so stock up and keep one everywhere.
Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil
In general my cuticles kinda always suck but more so during the winter, so I recently started applying a cuticle oil before bed and I cannot recommend it enough.
NatureLab Tokyo Repair Treatment Masque
A good hair mask is needed for anyone who color-treats their hair (like me) but even if you don't run your hair through the wringer, the dry, cold hellish months of winter will do it for you. Incorporating a hair mask into your shower routine once a week will do miracles for your hair. I've been using this one for NatureLab Tokyo for a while now and I love it. It provides just the right about of moisture back into my hair without it feeling weighed down or greasy afterward.
Hopefully, these products will help you survive the rest of these winter months until spring graces us with her presence again. Tell me what your favorite products to use are in the comments below.
