2014 Grammy Awards Best Dressed List
You can always expect for the red carpet for the Grammy awards to be wild and crazy. But this year’s red carpet was pretty tame and lack luster in fashion. Beyonce, Jay Z and nor Rihanna walked the red carpet. Lady Gaga didn’t show up in an egg or some well thought out red carpet PR stunt. Even though, there weren’t moments (without the exception of rapper/producer Pharrell’s Smokey the Bear like hat), they were at least top five ladies that looked beautiful for music’s biggest night. 5. Chrissy Teigen
John Legend’s wife and supermodel, Chrissy Teigen looked gorgeous in Johanna Johnson strapless gold gown. As you will see with many of the ladies on the top five list, red and gold were the main colors trending on the Grammys red carpet. Even though, Chrissy isn’t a nominated music star, she sure dressed like one! Well done, Chrissy!
4. Tamar Braxton
Singer and Braxton Family Values star, Tamar Braxton was fiery in a Michael Costello red gown. This structured gown fit perfectly, and the Tamar’s angled bob haircut was a perfect do’ for this look. I would have loved to see an armful of jeweled bracelets to amp up the look. But overall, Tamar looked red hot!
3. Ciara
Ciara was a proud golden mommy to be in a gold Emilio Pucci gown. The gown fit the pregnant singer perfectly showing off her baby bump. Ciara didn’t need any additional accessories because she was glowing from head to toe.
2. Pink
Another star looking red hot was singer Pink. She wore a structure red gown by designer Johanna Johnson. Like Tamar, I needed some drama in the accessory department with some heavy jeweled bracelets or necklace. Tying the full look together, Pink always knows how to top her look with her fantastic rock star hair.
1. Taylor Swift
Top fashionable honors go to Ms. Taylor Swift looking fabulous in Gucci. Taylor was in head to toe chain medal. She could have did more with her hair, slicked it back behind her ears or a simple undo would have been better suited for the amazingness of this Gucci gown. But with that said, the Gucci gown is nothing but FABULOUS!
