2014 19th Annual Critics Choice Award Best Dressed List
Hollywood’s stars and critically acclaimed attended tonight’s 19th annual Critics Choice Awards held in Santa Monica, CA. With us being in full award show season, celebs must bring it and bring it well, when it comes to what they wear when they hit the red carpet. Fashion at tonight’s event was overall great. 5. Melissa McCarthy
Actress and comedian, Melissa McCarthy looked arguably her red carpet best in a custom Daniela Kurrle floral dress and matching belt. The actress carried blue accessories including a blue clutch and cocktail ring that matched perfectly with her dress. This dress fit Melissa perfectly and she looked beautiful.
4. Nia Long
Actress and new mom, Nia Long looked sexy and sleek in her black Jovani gown with sheer panels. Keeping her look simple, classic and sexy, Nia accessorized with drop earrings and a black clutch with silver hardware. It’s hard to believe Nia is in her 40’s. She can give most 20 somethings a run for their money.
3. Margot Robbie
Wolf of Wall Street actress, Margot Robbie looking fabulous in her red carpet looks, so far this year. The actress once again, stunned us by wearing a black pantsuit by Elie Saab with Christian Louboutin shoes, a Alexander McQueen clutch & Ileana Makri jewelry. Margot could have worn a gown like every other actress, but surprised us by wearing this classic jumpsuit with lace embroidery details. She is one to watch this year on the red carpet!
2. Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o has done it again! The 12 Years a Slave actress amazed us by wearing this amazing Calvin Klein Collection gown styled with Paul Andrew shoes and Kimberly McDonald jewelry. It’s obvious that the white color of the gown with side cut outs, white nail polish and simple clutch make this look a hit. We expect nothing less than red carpet perfection from Lupita for any red carpet event she attends.
1. Kristen Bell
Top honors go to actress and new mom, Kristen Bell! The actress looked gorgeous in a Pamella Roland gown from the designer’s fall 2012 collection. The half sequined bustier and belt breaks up the look and gives great visual interest. The actress also carried an Edie Parker MINI JEAN Clutch in black glitter and polished off the look with Brian Atwood shoes and Norman Silverman jewelry. Kristen proves sometimes for red carpet events, simple details are best.
